Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to create music in studios with all kinds of atmospheres. Some were incredibly professional but so intimidating that artists were afraid to make mistakes. Others were so relaxed that sessions lost direction and ideas never reached their full potential.
Cozi Corner was born from the belief that there should be a better balance.
I wanted to create a space where artists of every experience level, from recording their very first song to releasing their next album, could feel comfortable bringing their ideas to the table without fear of judgment. A place where creativity is encouraged, collaboration comes naturally, and everyone in the room is working toward the same goal: making the best song possible.
To me, producing goes beyond recording, mixing, or arranging. I'm passionate about supporting artists throughout their creative journey, whether that's helping shape a song, talking through branding and content ideas, or simply encouraging someone to trust their instincts when they're trying something new.
The music industry is full of talented producers with strong creative visions. I value experience, and I'm confident in what I bring to the table, but I also believe the best collaborations happen when everyone is willing to learn from one another. No matter who walks through the door, I approach every session with curiosity, humility, and the belief that great ideas can come from anyone.
That's the environment I set out to build with Cozi Corner, and it's the one I strive to create in every session.
Every artist's creative process looks a little different, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you arrive with a finished demo or just the spark of an idea, we'll start by understanding your vision and what you want the song to say.
From there, we'll explore ideas together, experiment without fear of getting it "wrong," and make decisions that serve the song…not our egos. Some of the best moments in the studio come from trying something unexpected, and I want you to feel comfortable enough to chase those ideas.
Throughout the process, I'll offer guidance, honest feedback, and years of experience while always keeping your voice at the center of the project. My role isn't to steer your music in my direction, it's to help uncover the strongest version of yours.
By the time you leave, my hope is that you don't just walk away with a finished song, you leave feeling more confident in yourself as an artist.
Music has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the past 20 years, it's given me far more than a career. It has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and countless opportunities to witness the impact music can have on people's lives. Whether it's helping someone celebrate the happiest season of their life or giving them an outlet during one of their hardest, I've learned that music has a unique yet universal way of bringing people together. That's why I approach every project with a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility. Being invited into someone's creative journey is never something I take for granted.
Throughout my journey, I've been fortunate to experience many different corners of the music industry. I've performed professionally in venues ranging from local stages to the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu, earned a degree in Commercial Music Performance from Azusa Pacific University, recorded at renowned studios such as Balboa Studios in Los Angeles, and had the privilege of being mentored by producer Nick Tello.
Each chapter taught me something different. Performing taught me how artists think. Studio work taught me how records come together. Producing taught me that some of the most meaningful moments in music happen long before the final mix: when an idea clicks, a performance comes to life, or an artist discovers something new about themselves.
Today, those experiences continue to shape the way I approach every collaboration. Every artist, every song, and every session presents a new opportunity to learn, grow, and create something meaningful together, and that's a privilege I'll never take for granted.
